The engineering core of Geotest is a group of highly skilled electronic, software, and systems engineers
with an impressive track record of automated test systems development that ranges from commercial and industrial to
military and aerospace applications.
Geotest specializes in high-end, cost-effective software and hardware products for the test industry.
Among its products are:
 |
 |
ATEasy: A flexible, object-oriented, 32-bit programming environment, ATEasy is a
complete test application development studio that directs users to create reusable components, from instrument
drivers to complex test applications. Specifically designed for functional Automatic Test Equipment (ATE)
applications, ATEasy dramatically simplifies test application development process and reduces test development
and maintenance cycles. Combining the familiar user interface of Visual BasicTM and Visual C++®, ATEasy
takes test application development to new heights. The revolutionary ATEasy offers several exclusive features
such as: Instrument Interchangeability Technology (I2T) that goes beyond IVI, Test Engineering Language (TEL) for
simplified programming and maintenance, Open System Architecture supports ActiveX/OCX, COM, DLL, DDE as well as VXI,
PCI, cPCI, PXI, GPIB, TCP/IP, RS-232, USB, and ISA, built-in Test Executive, Application Builder, Multithreading
support, configuration management tools, HTML test logs, and many more features. |
 |
 |
 |
PXI Products: Geotest's state of the art PXI products include a 6U, 20-slot chassis and a
wide range of PXI test instruments including digital I/O, switching and ROM Emulators. |
 |
 |
 |
Instrumentation Chassis: Geotest's GTXI® series is the only computer
platform that can accommodate PXI, cPCI, PCI and ISA instruments in a single chassis. The GTXI®
computers offer unparalleled performance in an industrial chassis with features such as front loading of PC cards,
separate power systems for CPU and instruments, state-of-the-art interfacing options to the UUT, extended I/O
addressing range and improved cooling and cableways. |
 |
 |
 |
Digital Instruments: The GT25/50 and the GT5150 are unique 32 bit, 25/50/100MHz dynamic
digital I/O cards with unparalleled performance and a wide range of built-in features including: test rates up
to 100 MHz, up to 128 Mbit of memory behind each pin, 32 bits per card, up to 512 pins per system,
multiple I/O options (TTL, ECL, PECL, programmable levels), an algorithmic sequencer and more. |
 |
 |
 |
Switching Cards: Geotest offers a wide range of high-end, PC-based switching cards.
The GT6416 is the highest density PC-based Switch Matrix with up to four groups of 2x16. The GT6041 and GT6042 are
the only PC-based RF switching units with a bandwidth exceeding 200 MHz and up to 8 x 1:4 configuration.
The GT6064 is the only PC-based Scanner/Multiplexer with 2x32 or 1x64 channel capabilities. The GT6020 is a general
purpose, high-current switching card containing 20 individual channels and built-in drivers for 12 external switching
mechanisms. |
 |
 |
 |
Stimulus Instruments: A wide variety of Arbitrary Function Generators (up to 50MS/Sec),
Pulse Generators (5 MHz), Sinewave Generators (up to 70 MHz), and Digital to Analog Converters
(up to 16 bit resolution). |
 |
 |
 |
Measurement Instruments: A wide variety of Digital Multimeters
(5½ and 6½ digits, up to 1000 readings per second), Time Interval Counters (100 MHz, 9 digits resolution),
Time Interval Analyzers (up to 400 MHz, 2 pSec resolution), Digital Storage Oscilloscopes (100, 200, and
300 MHz), and Analog to Digital Converters (12/16 bit, up to 1 MHz). |

Geotest's customers range from design engineering firms to systems integrators. Geotest's product line is used predominantly
by the test industry, although several products (such as the GTXI® instrumentation chassis) are being used
for different applications.
Geotest's products are also being integrated into other products, and then being resold worldwide as
a complete solution. An avionics test system by Honeywell (Redmond, WA) that utilized ATEasy® as the
testing operating system is currently being used by most U.S. and European airlines. A test system for the oil drilling
industry by Halliburton Energy Services (Houston, TX) that utilizes ATEasy® as the testing operating system
and several PC-based instruments from Geotest is currently deployed world-wide.
